PREFACE
This Tutor is an attempt to benefit both children and adults. Some parts may prove too difficult for children or too simple for grown-ups. This was inevitable.
As group sessions seem to become more popular nowadays some suggestions have been made in this direction.
The studies have found a place between the exercises, except the 12 studies at the end of the book. It is not necessary to play them in the order given. Everyone will have his or her preference in this respect.
By all means give children the opportunity to invent little pieces of their own.
