This is a book of simple, progressive tunes suitable for any harp with 26 or more strings. The book begins with tunes for complete beginners and progresses through to tunes at approximately grade one level, or perhaps a little beyond. To play these tunes, lever harps will need to be tuned in E flat major. If you have a harp that doesn’t have any levers (or pedals) at all, you will also need to tune in E flat major, except where otherwise indicated. If you are unsure about what this means, or how to go about it, there is a free tutorial on this at my youtube channel. There you will also find free recordings of all the pieces in this book, plus videos on many other harp-related matters.

Beginner pedal harpists, please note that most of the pieces in this book are in the key of E flat major. This means that the pedal setting required for most of the pieces in the book is:
