SM664: Echoes of the West Highlands

Echoes of the West Highlands
Eleven original pieces for lever harp, pedal harp or piano
Sarah Deere-Jones

Cover imageLetterfearn is an idyllic village on the southern shore of Loch Duich. In 2014 we bought a derelict crofthouse in the village and spent the next 4 years renovating it. We go there as often as possible and love to watch the seals & otters in the loch, the pine martens, badgers & deer in the back garden, and the Golden and Sea Eagles soaring above the mountains. Although I had been visiting the area since the 1960s, I've now got to know it much better, have come to know some lovely locals, the legends, stories and history of the area as well as the unparalleled scenery, all of which have inspired these pieces.
