Introduction

Please just listen to the accompanying CD a while before attempting to play by ear or decipher the notation.
On most pieces I play through the fully written arrangement and add repetitions using bass hand chord symbols.
Try playing these, as notes, triads, fifths, octaves etc in an appropriate overall rhythm and you’ll be able to create your own arrangement.
My written arrangements allow you to avoid lever changes between parts of a set though many of the other tunes will flow together with minimal changes - experiment!
Get used to playing along with the CD to keep your speed steady, gain confidence and coax the musician out of the learner
