| Notes | Tendresses ... French for tender
greetings or tokens of affection, is a collection of 20 short works
written by great 19th century composers or pedagogues. It is designed
for the harpist who has

the pedals.
Each miniature work, whether song or dance, evokes a mood based on universally recognized sentiments. Early access to the rich legacy of this "romantic" vocabulary, ranging from dreaminess to resolve and sorrow to cheer, encourages personal involvement in the musical process. Once the notes begin to speak, to the ear, to the heart, the stage is set for joyful experimentation and lovely expression... |
