Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM)
Musicians Union (MU)
MCPS: Acting on behalf of its composer and publisher members, the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society negotiates agreements with those who wish to record music, ensuring the copyright owners are rewarded for the use of their music. It collects and then distributes the "mechanical" royalties which are generated from the recording of music onto many different formats, including CDs, cassettes, videos, audio visual and broadcast material.
PRS: The Performing Right Society works for composers, lyricists and music publishers, who are its members, to license the public performance and broadcast of copyright works, collect the licence fees, assemble information about the use of that music, and then distribute the royalties, including the use of members music on the Internet.
The MCPS-PRS Alliance: MCPS and PRS are separate societies in terms of income, constitution, membership and guardianship of different rights. To make the best use of their individual strengths, they are now working as an operational alliance.

The Classical Recording Company:

Established in 1987, The Classical Recording Company is one of the UK’s top facilities for the recording and post-production of classical music and related projects. From the outset, the company has tried to achieve a balance between the purist recording techniques, much loved by many in classical music, and the realities of making high quality live and session recordings on location around the world. Their clients range from major international record labels to individuals planning their first recording, and they are equipped to handle even the most complex recordings.
